Objectives

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) aims to promote humanitarian values and develop a sense of social responsibility among students. The key objectives include:

  • To conduct social and health awareness programmes for the community.
  • To create awareness on personal health care and the well-being of others.
  • To encourage students to extend humanitarian services to society.
  • To provide First Aid training to all YRC volunteers.
  • To organize cultural programmes focusing on the prevention of diseases.

Roles and Responsibilities

Health Awareness

  • YRC members actively educate the public on health, hygiene, and preventive healthcare practices.
  • They promote awareness on maintaining personal and community health.

First Aid Services

  • Members are trained in First Aid and disseminate this knowledge to others, ensuring timely assistance during emergencies.

Blood Donation

  • YRC volunteers organize and participate in blood donation camps to support healthcare needs.

Disaster Relief

  • Members contribute to relief and rehabilitation efforts during natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and fires.

Social Service

  • YRC volunteers render support to the sick, needy, and physically challenged individuals, demonstrating compassion and care.

Environmental Protection

  • Members engage in activities aimed at environmental conservation and climate change mitigation.

Community Engagement
