I am delighted to reach out to you through the website of the Global Institute of Engineering and Technology Alumni Association.

Our alumni are spread out across the world, holding positions of eminence, playing an important role in building the credibility of our College, and have contributed immensely to the growth of our college. GIT on its part is keen to strengthen the bonds with its alumni. Your active participation and support in the activities of the Alumni Association will help us work together to take forward in the years to come. The Alumni website is just a small step to bringing the alumni closer to their past. I would like to appeal to you all to partake in the activities of the Alumni Association, as I am sure that we all can play a significant role in institution-building. Any suggestions for better functioning of the Alumni Association are heartily welcomed.

The Global Institute of Engineering and Technology Alumni Association (GITAA) was registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975(Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1975) in the year 2019 vide Sl.No. SRG/Ranipet/20/2019 with the Office of the Registrar of Societies, Ranipet., Tamil Nadu.

The college fosters a close rapport with its alumni and it brings in turn a very advantageous link with industries and doyens in the society.

The GITAA is a platform through which the alumni get in touch with their alma mater, where they grew up and flew off from. The interaction through the alumni is aimed at bridging the gap between college and career and reconnecting, reminiscing, revisiting the rich memories, strengthening the bond, and savouring the rich experiences gained over the years.

Aims Of The Society

To provide a vibrant forum that promotes interaction and networking among alumni of the institute.
To facilitate the association of alumni with their Alma Mater.
To contribute to the institute’s vision of being recognized among the world’s leading institutions in academics, research, outreach, and innovation;
To promote best practices in different areas of science, technology, humanities and social sciences for the benefit of society, especially weaker sections;
To assist deserving students from the sections of the society financially and otherwise;
Strengthening the ties between former students of the institution;
Bring the former students of the institute, under one forum for the exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge and talents amongst its members and students and also for the furtherance of fellowship, and advancement of scientific knowledge in general of the members of the Association and the institution.
To create and establish Alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes and medals to the students who record high proficiency in their studies and honour former students.
Membership is optional and not compulsory.
The Alumni will act as per the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Society Registration Act 1975 and Rules
The President will be the authorized official for all the actions taken under the court of Law on behalf of the association.

Memorandum Of Association

The Name of the Association shall be “GIT Alumni Association Network” (Global Institute of Engineering and Technology)

OBJECTIVES

To provide a vibrant forum that promotes interaction and networking among alumni of the institute.
To facilitate the association of alumni with their Alma Mater

To contribute to the Institute’s vision of being recognized among the world’s leading Institutions in academics, research, outreach and innovations
To promote best practices in different areas of science, technology, humanities and social sciences for the benefit of society, especially weaker sections
To assist deserving students from the Institute and Society financially and otherwise
Strengthening the ties between former students of the Institution
